The 1 reason ‘Profit per X’ is the ‘nub’ of your strategy

The $5 flight upgrade

I had read about the $5 flight upgrade before and whilst it was perhaps culturally inappropriate in Australia, today I tried it on when flying to Melbourne. It’s a really simple tactic and it worked so much better than I could have hoped. Here’s how it works, and how it worked for me today. On the way to the flight I stopped and bought a big bag of M&M’s, one of the family sized bags for $5. As I walked to board the flight attendant checked my boarding pass and I walked Read More...

The one thing that makes a Navy Seal fail as a leader

Ego. It is one of the key elements in driving success in peoples careers, it pushes people to do better, but unless that is tempered with humility it can ruin everything.
